About

Most of my tattoos start as drawings in my sketchbook. They're fantasies about nature — sometimes close to real plants, sometimes a bit stranger, like plants with eyes. I post the originals, and whoever falls for one comes and wears it.

I also design pieces with people. You tell me your idea, we sketch the composition together, and we make it on the day. I care most about how a piece sits on you, and how it grows with your body.

My background includes years working within the contemporary art world, and I studied at Bauhaus University and in fine art at Gloucestershire. It all feeds into the work.

Drawn from my own sketchbook.

What I do

  • 01 Botanical and floral work — fine line, illustrative, and bolder graphic pieces
  • 02 Grasses and wildflowers, including my own flash
  • 03 Original designs straight from my sketchbook
  • 04 Large-scale pieces that flow with the body — backs, spines, legs
  • 05 Black or coloured ink, whatever suits the piece
  • 06 Blast-overs — bold new work over an old tattoo

A few things I don't do: walk-ins, cover-ups, or fixing other artists' tattoos. I work by appointment, and I take on smaller pieces mainly for people I already tattoo — I'd rather give larger work the time it deserves.

How pricing works

Quoted per project.

I work in fixed half-day and full-day sessions, and I quote each project on its own — it depends on the size, where it goes, how detailed it is, and how many sessions it needs. A deposit secures your dates and comes off your final session. Tell me your idea when you enquire and I'll give you a clear quote. Every piece is different, so I don't list prices here.

Enquire

How it works

From idea to skin

  1. Enquiry

Tell me your idea, where it's going, and send any references.

  2. Consultation

We talk it through and I get a feel for what you want.

  3. Design

I draw it, and we shape the composition together.

  4. The day

We finish the design on your body so it flows right, then tattoo it.

Bigger pieces are done over a few half or full-day sessions.

Consultations & booking

Join the waiting list.

I usually book a little while ahead and keep a waiting list, so there's often a short wait — but I'd always rather hear from you than not. Send me your idea, some references, the placement and a rough size, and we'll find your dates.

Questions

Frequently asked

How much does a tattoo cost?

Every piece is different, so I don't list prices. I work in half-day and full-day sessions and quote each project individually, with a deposit that secures your dates and comes off the final session. Tell me your idea and I'll give you a clear quote.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, I work by appointment only. Send me an enquiry and we'll find dates.

Can I bring my own idea, or do you only tattoo your own designs?

Both work. A lot of people wear designs straight from my sketchbook, and plenty bring an idea we shape together. Either way, I finish the design on the day so it flows with your body.

Do you do cover-ups?

I don't do cover-ups, but I do blast-overs — bold new work over an old tattoo, with bits of the old one still showing through. If you want something fully hidden, I'm not the right artist for that.

Do you only do floral and black work?

Flowers are only one part of it. I do grasses, wildflowers, botanical and more abstract natural forms, fine line through to bolder graphic work, in black or colour. I'm not a classic floral artist.

What should I send when I enquire?

Your idea, where it's going on the body, a rough size, and any references or images you like. Before your appointment, come well-rested, eat beforehand, and wear something that gives easy access to the area.

How long does a big piece take?

It depends on size and detail. Larger pieces — backs, full legs — are usually a few half or full-day sessions. We plan it out at your consultation.

Where are you based?

I work from OnePointZero, a private studio in Clifton, Bristol.
